Requisites for participation

To participate in the 6th Upstream Professionals Hiring Event you have to:  

  • Be an active member of either SPE or any of the collaborating professional organizations (click here and scroll down to check if your professional organization is participating in our event).

The event is for experienced professionals of all oil and gas upstream disciplines. Thus, you must also meet the following requirements:

  • A university degree equivalent to a 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied sciences or a 4-year advanced degree in a field other than science or engineering.
  • A 2-year science or engineering degree and technical experience working on an upstream project.

AND:

  • Upstream experience. Previous full-time position in support of an upstream discipline or project.

NO WALK-INS allowed. Registration is mandatory and resume/CV must be submitted at least 24 hours before the event. Various entry times are available for registration with a panel discussion at 8:30 am (limited space).

SPE Members in Transition Seminar on October 4th

A SPE Members in Transition Seminar will be available on October 4th in preparation to the hiring event. The agenda for the seminar in the series will include “Resume Preparation”, “Linked In Optimization”, “Interviewing Tips” and a “Discussion of Resources for SPE Members”. Event Parking:

It is OK to park in areas in yellow.

HSE Note: follow safety rules and be careful when crossing Wirt Rd. if you park at the Kroger’s parking lot. Wirt Rd. can be busy at some times of the day.

Please do not park at the church’s parking lot.

Parking
